When I first came to CFI, I was pretty intimidated about CrossFit as a whole. I did not know what to expect.

After going through my introduction and my first few classes, it was easy to see that everyone was probably there for the three same reasons, to improve their health and fitness, work hard to achieve their goals, and to truly support each other as a community.

When I use the term “Community” to describe CFI, I can definitely say that I’ve never experienced a place where people so genuinely cared about each other and supported their successes, as well as set backs. This is evident in the coaches, participants, and [genuine] friendships that I encountered there.

With their support, I was able to work beyond both injuries and self-imposed imitations. I’m forever grateful to these amazing people for helping me to open that door again to my own well-being.
