Intensity is the key in moving the needle closer to our fitness goals.
We’ll define intensity as 100% effort on a given day, so it’s not a percentage or your one rep max or your max unbroken reps, it’s what you have in the tank. Do this enough and you’ll move towards your goals.
The tendency is to add more volume to try get there faster. But recovery between bouts of intensity will help us more. Before we add in extra work invest the time in more sleep, better nutrition, and less stress, which will lead to those sought after gainz!
