HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING IN OUR COMMUNITY!

When to Use Negative Thinking

We want to be a positive gym, and that doesn’t mean we close our eyes and hope joy joy feelings will make everything work out.

Negative thinking has it’s place in planning. We don’t mean “OH MY GOD EVERYTHING IS A DISASTER” type negative thinking. We mean, what could go wrong and what can we do about it?

This is where “If… Then…” comes into place. If our warm up goes wrong then we’ll adjust our openers. If our toes to bar break down then we’ll employ a different strategy.

When to be positive? In the moment. When we talk to ourselves we coach ourselves like our best friend would. When we approach a workout we can do so positive and confident that we’ve prepared our best and we’ll do our best.
