Easy to do, easy not to do

Most of the marketing in the fitness world promises the killer system, the get shredded in 14 days while eating Triple Fudge Cake guaranteed results.

Honestly, and you know this yourself, most of this is pure BS.

If it sounds too good to be true…

The key really is small, marginal changes to your lifestyle that add up. The problem with this? Results don’t come quickly, and because of that it’s easy to get disheartened.

If you skip brushing your teeth one day, your teeth won’t suddenly fall out the next. Neglect to brush your teeth over the course of a few years, you could run into serious dental problems.

Small changes can lead to big results

Ditto with that lunchtime can of coke. On it’s own it’s not going to kill you. But over the course of a year, 250 cans = 34500 calories, or approximately 10lbs of fat (it’s a rough calculation). Drinking that can of coke is easy to do, and not drinking it is easy to do too. The key is knowing how all these small, “harmless” things add up.

It all adds up

Look at some of the areas of your life and you’ll see there’s a bunch of small things you can do RIGHT NOW that will have an impact on your fitness. You of course have to trust that all these little things will add up.
