Most of the squatting we do here in CFI is narrow stance and “quad” dominant. The Wide Stance Box Squat is way more focused on your “posterior” chain, the glutes, hamstrings, lower back and groin muscles.
This helps create another layer of balance and strength into our Programmeme, and it’s always good to try new movements to increase our usable range of motion and strength. This gives us a “buffer” zone of strength beyond what we need in day to day and our sporting life.
