Story Time – The Volume Fallacy

More =/= better

Better is better!

YouTube video

It’s easier to think that adding extra lifts, metcons, or longer workouts is the key to getting better. What’s harder to do, and ultimately more rewarding, is intensity.

“Intensity is the independent variable most commonly associated with favourable adaptation.” – Greg Glassman, Founder of CrossFit.

This is why our classes are set up to optimal prepare you for the workout of the day, so you can give the max intensity for you to get the most out of your training time.

Before Intensity, we need to have consistency ➡️ Show up frequently.

Before Consistency, we need to have mechanics ➡️ Move well.

Very rarely is volume the answer to getting us to the next level.
