No book, programme, coach, or magic pill is going to land you perfectly at the peak of your fitness, optimal health, and unbelievable happiness.
It’s not fat or fit. You don’t wake up one day and you have abs. Over weeks, months, and years you’ll lose visceral body fat and gain definition. It’s not a switch, it’s a dial.
We wall want the perfect fix, but perfection is the lowest goal because we know it’s not attainable.
What is attainable? Small, consistent changes that move you from where you are now to where you want to be.
This isn’t as exciting as that lotto win that we all dream about. And it’s why people reject the partial fix – because it’s not the total fix. The issue we rejecting the partial fix is we’ve taken zero action. And then we come back in 2 weeks (or 2 years) and we’re still in the same spot because the partial fix wasn’t exciting enough. Now we REALLY want the total fix!
Take the partial fix, because that’s all there is. Move the dial a little bit closer to your goal today (especially if it doesn’t show immediate payoff). Then keep it there and move it another bit tomorrow or next week. This way you will see progress. The alternative is waiting for the perfect total fix. And that’s not gonna happen.
