Fix Your Weightlifting In 5 Min…
Olympic Weightlifting is not a sport that you can ‘fix’ with a 20 second Instagram/TikTok reel.
♦️ Real skill in olympic weightlifting is a product of neuromuscular adaptation, not wishful thinking.
Real progress needs real work, there is no magic tricks!
↪️ Every lift is a complex full body skill, that requires thousands of repetitions to encode it into your central nervous system, so you can get better at it.
⭕️ Your brain 🧠 and body, (muscles, tendons, joints) learn through repetition, practice and feedback.
🔎 Biomechanics matter. Things like bar trajectory, body position and joint angles, timing, and force, all need to be trained the right way, over and over again, not rushed with tricks.
🔗 Muscle memory isn’t magic or some miracles, it’s built by doing the right thing, again and again and again, until it sticks in your nervous system, building neural pathways repetition after repetition constantly.
❌ You cannot cheat the physiology of the process. You cannot skip the hard work and hack years of deliberate practice. You cannot watch a reel and expect to lift better because you saw it. You need hours and hours of practice to understand the movement, to feel the bar!
🚩 If you’re chasing PBs in 5 days from internet videos, sorry but you’re not training you’re gambling with your time, progress and body.
💁♂️ Olympic weightlifting requires a huge amount of patience, discipline and hard work!
