Happy New Year!
I was speaking with a member who does private training sessions and they worked out that if they took care of themselves, they could be doing this for the next thirty years.
It’s New Year’s Day and we all use this time to think about the next year and all we want to accomplish. Maybe it’s exciting, maybe it’s overwhelming. We can achieve quite a lot in a year, but you don’t have to achieve EVERYTHING in this year. You’ve got time.
Bringing it back to today, knowing we’ve got time ahead of us, we can focus on doing things right, instead of trying to do them fast and get everything done right now! As John Wooden said, “if you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?”
Give 100% (whatever that looks like on a given day) to the process and let the results take care of themselves. It might take you longer than you think to lose 10Kg, or our 10Kg on your favourite lift. Rushing it probably won’t help, but focusing on what needs to be done, and doing that to the best of your ability, is your best guarantee of success in the long run.
